First of all I just wanted to thank everyone for their time the created the guides and information I have came across here has truly helped me but I’m currently at a dead end trying to figure out my permission issue.
I have a user called nas on my local storage and they have access to my media directory (/tank/media_root) that I am trying to incorporate into an *arr stack that was installed via dockge from the helper script provided here (also on my local storage) but I’m confused as to how I can give my dockge LXC permission to R/W my directory /tank/mediaroot.
I tried adding the user "root " on my Dockge LXC to the group with the following command ( usermod -aG nas_shares root but the user isn’t getting added to the “nas_share” group.
edit. adding all services in the stack are reachable just stuck with how to correctly add the permissions for R/W
